Twenty20 loss for Pakistan against RSA

Pakistan loses to South Africa in the Twenty20 as well. Pakistan was not even able to fight in this game against the Proteas. Pakistanis batsmen could not settle on the pitch first, but with a couple of sixes from Naved-ul-Hassan near the end made Pakistan's score look reasonable. But then the bowlers of Pakistan were murdered by the openers of South Africa.

Pakistan ended up losing by 10 wickets. Openers of South Africa did everything. Even though there is difference between ODI games and Twenty20 games, but with losing this game in a bad manner after losing test series as well, Pakistan's morale must have gone down. But I still wish Pakistan to do better in the ODI and produce a better result.

Hopefully, Pakistan will be able to win the ODI series with superb bowling of Mohammad Asif. Pakistan requires team effort which will bring them success. Pakistani batsmen have been unsuccessful in this tour so far, but Asif and Kaneria have done reasonably well for Pakistan. But if Pakistan is looking forward to do good in the ODI series, they need to make some definite changes, and other players need to get back in form.

Akmal must be dropped so he might be able to learn some lesson. Zulqurnain Haider has been on the tour from the beginning but has not been picked for even a single game. So, I think he deserves a chance.

From bowling, Asif is the only current hope. Because Shabbir has made a come back after a long time. For that reason it is hard to predict his performance. Other bowlers are just out of form. Without Shoaib, team does look helpless.

InshAllah, Pakistan's management will do what's necessary to succeed in the ODI series.
